February 28, 2019

Xerox has introduced an instant print kiosk that offers access to cloud services and printing, copying, scanning and faxing applications. The kiosk allows venues frequented by mobile technology users to generate a new revenue stream.

The kiosk's high-speed cloud connectivity and range of capabilities will allow jobs to be completed faster, and enable revenue for kiosk owners, according to a press release.

The kiosk's large touchscreen provides intuitive, step-by-step instructions to complete and securely print jobs; popular cloud sites including Dropbox, Electronics for Imaging PrintMe, Google Drive, OneDrive and SharePoint are easily accessible. The kiosk supports card-based payment options, such as credit, gift and student campus cards. Added features include hole-punching and stapling up to 50 sheets.

The kiosk solution integrates remote device administration, payment transactions, accounting, cloud-based faxing and end-to-end data security protection.

Prime locations for the kiosk include high-traffic areas, such as retail settings, hotels, airports, convention centers and libraries, as well as higher education institutions for student and faculty use.

Chautauqua Institution has reported high satisfaction among test users, citing jobs are completed quickly and effortlessly.

"The kiosk is the perfect solution for visitors who need to stay connected to work while on vacation," James Freay, office services and equipment administrator at Chautauqua Institution said in the press release.
