Personnel at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base will be able to pick up prescriptions at a ScriptCenter kiosk inside the Army & Air Force Exchange Service Mall, which is expected to be ready for use after Oct. 4, according to the base's website.

The 88th Diagnostics and Therapeutics Squadron will install the machine, which will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Patients will create and enter a username that will allow them to access the locker containing their prescription.

The kiosk will be utilized mainly for refills, but certain new prescriptions can also be picked up.

Patients will still call in refills, but the kiosk offers an option for pickup.
