Wine-kiosk market getting crowded

Newsweek: Roughly half a dozen companies are testing and marketing interactive touchscreen wine kiosks for placement in grocery and liquor stores, as well as wine shops. The field is wide open for wine kiosk companies, who are going head-to-head to be the first to get a contract with a large Wal-Mart or Costco-type chain.

 
"Everybody is trying to land that big deal," says David Drain, executive director of the Self Service & Kiosk Association, which represents self-service and digital signage vendors and deployers. "It's a land grab."
