PADERBORN, Germany - Calling it a versatile unit that will cut down on footprints, retail solutions provider Wincor Nixdorf Inc. on Jan. 29 unveiled its CERTO interactive system.
Designed for self-service and customer communication functions, CERTO includes a 15-inch touchscreen display, audio system, and card reader. The PC unit is built into the touchscreen, making the system more compact. The system can be expanded to include additional card readers, a barcode scanner, trackball, camera, telephone headset, and thermal printer.
Wincor officials said the system is designed for areas where space is limited, including shopping malls, banks, and retail outlets.
