Wincor Nixdorf in POS deal with pawn shop operator

AUSTIN, Texas -- Austin-based Wincor Nixdorf Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of German point-of-sale system and ATM manufacturer Wincor Nixdorf GmbH & Co, is supplying an unspecified number of its point-of-sale systems to Austin-based pawn shop operator EZCorp Inc. [Nasdaq: EZPW].

The value of the contract wasn't released, according to a report in the Austin Business Journal.

Wincor Nixdorf is providing its WinXpress system of POS equipment, software and supplies to EZCorp, which operates 280 pawn shops in 11 states.
