Wincor Nixdorf Certo awarded for high design quality

PADERBORN, Germany -- The North-Rhine-Westphalia Design Zentrum has awarded Wincor Nixdorf transaction terminals and kiosk systems its internationally recognized "reddot design award".

The awards went to the ProPrint 1000/2000/LS and ProConsult 2000 product families (transaction terminals) and the Certo kiosk system.

Members of the international jury chose the Wincor Nixdorf products from a line-up of 1,494 entries from 28 countries and awarded them the coveted red dot for exemplary combination of functionality and design, according to a news release.

To date, Wincor Nixdorf has supplied more than 100,000 transaction terminals worldwide, making it the market leader in Germany and Europe, the release said.

The Design Zentrum has been awarding its internationally recognized red dot for outstanding product design since as early as 1955.
