Western Union deploys 80 money transfer kiosks in Qatar

Western Union is rolling out 80 money transfer kiosks in malls, banks and hospitals in Qatar,  the first such machines in that country, according to Doha News.

The kiosks will also be located at government offices, petrol stations, supermarkets, residential areas and staff accommodations.

The machines will operate 24/7 in conjunction with Alfardan Exchange and offer cash-to-cash delivery services, as well as direct to bank or send to mobile.

The machines only accept Qatari riyals, as per Central Bank regulations.
