The Marion County, West Virginia public library installed a self-checkout kiosk at its branch in Fairmont to allow patrons to check out materials during the COVID-19 pandemic without interacting with staff, according to a WV News report
The kiosk uses a touchpad and the library's RFID technology to let people check out books, movies and more by scanning their library card and setting the items on the counter.
