ATLANTA - Webpavement completed implementation of its digital signage solutions and dynamically updated events information for the 3.1 million-square-foot Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington, DC. The complex houses 6,000 federal employees. Non-federal space features the DC Visitor Information Center, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, private trade-related office space, a 17-eatery food court, Aria Trattoria and a 2,000-space parking garage.
The digital signage network includes 15 Philips LCD displays installed in custom designed floor-standing and wall-mounted enclosures. Webpavement media players drive dynamic meeting details, event information and other content across the network of LCD displays. The Webpavement Sign Server is used to schedule content for playback on the digital signage network.
The project required an easy-to-use solution accessed by users without the need to install and update client software. The solution was also required to leverage existing infrastructure and support a variety of media formats.
