Wavetec launches banking, telecom kiosks

Wavetec, a Dubai, United Arab Emirates-based provider of customer experience solutions, has launched a range of self-service kiosks for banking and the telecom sector, according to a press release.

The self-service kiosks have a modular design with an array of components for custom configurations, offering consumers the convenience of bypassing teller lines and quickly completing branch transactions, such as account opening, check deposit and SIM dispensing.

The solutions include features such as cash acceptance, cash disbursement, custom card printing, real-time SIM registration and biometric verification.

Wavetec has recently landed a project with Telenor, a Norwegian multinational telecommunications company, to deploy more than 60 SIM dispensing kiosks in franchises and public areas.
