ARLINGTON, Texas -- Virtual reality and kiosk systems developer VirTra Systems Inc.(OTCBB:VTSI) will provide racing simulator amusement game systems to Racing Visions Corp. in a deal announced on May 28.
Under the terms of the deal, VirTra will serve as the exclusive provider of racing simulator systems to Racing Visions. The Scottsdale, Ariz.-based radio-controlled car developer anticipates purchasing 8,900 simulators at a cost of $26.7 million over the next three years according to VirTra.
Racing Visions system allows competitors to control 1/6-scale and 1/4-scale vehicles through remote telecommunications.
In announcing the deal, VirTra Chief Executive Officer L. Kelly Jones said the deal reflects VirTra's continued commitment to the entertainment and amusement industries. The company in recent months has also pursued opportunities in the training/simulation market. VirTra is a developer of on-line computer gaming kiosks and kiosk control software.
