Virginia housing authority introduces kiosks for clients

The Suffolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority in Suffolk, Virginia will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony today at the Morgan Memorial Library for a kiosk for participants of the housing voucher program, according to a press release.

The authority partnered with the Suffolk Public Library on kiosks to streamline client processes. The kiosks will reduce paperwork, reduce the need for face-to-face interaction and will allow clients to access online payments, submit maintenance requests and complete housing applications.

The library has agreed to house one kiosk while public housing communities will house two kiosks.
