Vinzient to deliver Toshiba multifunction printers for member healthcare providers

Vizient, a healthcare performance improvement company, will deliver Toshiba's multifunction printers, thermal printers and managed print as a service program to its U.S. members nationwide, including academic medical centers, pediatric facilities, community hospitals, integrated health delivery networks and non-acute healthcare providers, according to a press release.

Toshiba e-Studio multifunction printers and document solutions streamline healthcare workflow applications and help ensure compliance with government regulations including the health insurance portability and accountability standards.

Toshiba MFPs feature self-encrypting hard drives with wipe technology to safeguard personally identifiable information and protected healthcare information. The systems are also Protection Profile for Hardcopy Devices certified with optional Federal Information Processing Standards 140-2 validated hard drives that address government security compliance measures.

Delivering scannable barcode labels, Toshiba label printers further assist healthcare personnel with tracking medical supplies and medications while maintaining administrative accuracy of medicines and patient information.
