Vietnam bank introduces automated teller machines

Bac A Bank, a Vietnamese bank, has introduced automated teller machines to allow customers to conduct essential banking services such as opening an account, issuing debit cards and registering for e-banking services, according to a vir.com.vn report.

The machines have a user interface and integrate with electronic customer identification technologies such as finger vein and facial image identification.

The first 100 customers who open accounts at the machines through Aug. 21 will be eligible to receive VND200,000 ($8.70) in their account.
