ANN ARBOR, Mich. - DVD manufacturer and distributor Videotronic North America LLC, seeking to establish a base in the retail kiosk market, has unveiled a DVD-video kiosk system.
The DK-01 kiosk features a Videotronic/Phillips ProDVD player in its regular configuration, along with an LCD touchscreen, audio amplifier and stereo speakers. The company is marketing the kiosk for retail video promotions, point of purchases displays, exhibits and interactive company training. Price was not disclosed.
Videotronic managing director Andrew Hetzel said the freestanding aluminum kiosk offered retailers an all-in-one solution that was designed to handle the retail environment.
"Instead of having to design and custom build a kiosk unit, customers can order the DK-01 and it's ready to go, right out of the box," Hetzel said in a news release.
