LONDON - British Telecom will trial a video and photo e-mail service at 10 kiosks in central London, according to the netimperitive news service.
The kiosks will be placed in stations, airports and popular shops to gauge demand for the service. It enables users to send a 30-second video clip by e-mail to friends and relatives for£1 per message. The release said BT believe consumers will adopt the service, and that it could become part of the Web Payphone rollout of 20,000 units previously announced by the company.
