Video kiosks promoting Pennsylvania tourism

The Franklin County Visitors Bureau in Waynesboro, Penn., has deployed video kiosks to promote events and tourism around the county.

The deployment includes 17 small kiosks in various bed and breakfasts and 15 large ones in hotels around the county, according to a story in PublicOpinionOnline.

Tourism needs to start embracing technology and its features, said Patrick Fleagle, director of economic development with Main Street Waynesboro Inc.

"That's what people are using," Fleagle said. "I hope to use it in Waynesboro to tell our story."
