Vicon, a provider of motion capture technology, has introduced an access control kiosk that uses facial authentication and integrates with the company's access control systems, according to a securityinforwatch.com report. The kiosk has an internal face database that stores images.
Two or more kiosks can be connected and managed via the browser interface when used with the Vicon thermal software. The centralized face database can be pushed out to all other kiosks in the operation simultaneously.
The kiosk can send customizable audio and visual messages if an elevated temperature or no mask is detected.
