VERO financial services solution offers new features

November 14, 2005

ORLANDO, Fla. - VERO Inc., provider of financial services technology solutions, announced in a news release new features available with the commercial deployment of its automated check-cashing solution. Following a successful pilot at Palm Desert National Bank, the VERO solution is now commercially available with enhancements to services, software and hardware.

VERO's self-service financial solution featuring automated check-cashing now offers multiple check-type cashing, support of multiple fee structures and integrated stored-value card loading. VERO's proprietary Fraud Decision Engine reflects rules-based improvements to support these features that further serve and protect both the customer and their end user. The company also pre-released a new Assisted Workstation hardware upgrade option, manufactured by Kiosk Information Systems.

VERO developed the automated check-cashing solution to help banks and retailers impact check-cashing fraud, serve the unbanked market and streamline processes associated with check cashing.

"Gaining customer input has played a crucial role in helping us advance our solution this past year," said Dave Grano, chief executive officer of VERO. "Banks who rely on our automated check-cashing solution will benefit immediately from reduction in fraud and improvements in customer acquisition while they prepare to capitalize on future financial self-service opportunities."
