VendTek's e-Fresh system goes live in the U.K

VANCOUVER - VendTek Systems Inc. (CDNX: VSI) today announced the successful live testing of its e-Fresh system in the UK. The e-Fresh Network enables cellular service providers to distribute prepaid cellular time electronically to consumers via a proprietary real time network and self-serve kiosks called e-Fresh Stations.

The e-Fresh network consists of a central server running VendTek's transaction processing software connected to multiple e-Fresh stations. The network can support tens of thousands of stations within a single country.

The first kiosks have been installed in a railway station, at a university and a leisure center. The deployment of additional units is expected to accelerate over the next several weeks in preparation for the official launch in late November.
