Vendor releases stamp-printing kiosk in India

BANGALORE, India -- Tata Infotech has developed a secure stamp-paper printing kiosk. According to an article in the Hindustan Times, the vendor already has a "major order" from State Bank of Mysore to set up such kiosks in Karnataka.

The features of the self-serve kiosks include automated printing of non-judicial stamp papers, dynamic calculation of applicable bank charges, payment through any type of currency or credit cards, and printing of multiple copies through a single interaction, the article noted.

According to the article, the kiosks are secure and dynamic, and conduct digital encryption for electronic authentication of printed stamps.
