Valparasio council considering regulations on outdoor kiosk placement

The Munster, Ind., Times reports that the Valparasio, Ind., city planner has asked that city to consider new rules regarding self-service kiosks.
City planning director Greg Phillips has asked Valparasio city council to consider regulations for the placement of outdoor kiosks. The city does not have ordinances in place to regulate these placements, and Phillips states in the story that he is concerned about poor placement of kiosks such as redbox DVD-rental machines cluttering outdoor areas.
The story reports that Phillips hopes to have a draft of regulations in about a month.
