Utility bill payment kiosk proves popular in North Carolina

A utility bill payment kiosk in Concord, North Carolina has already processed more than a million dollars' worth of payments via cash, check or credit card, according to an Independent Tribune report.

Dynatouch, a kiosk manufacturer, provided the kiosk and integrated its software with the city's payment processor.

Northstar and Invoice Cloud partnered in creating the system for processing payments and updating customer records.

The city is considering adding more Dynatouch bill payment kiosks, including an outdoor model that would be available 24/7.
