WESTERLY, R.I.-- The Washington Trust Company opened a branch in Warwick, R.I, that features an online banking kiosk, as well as two ATMs.
The Warwick branch, the bank's 16th, marks a milestone in Washington Trust's 203-year history, and helps fulfill the Bank's strategy to grow its market area through geographic expansion. "Of all the initiatives Washington Trust is taking this year, the most visible is our entrance into the Warwick market," said John Warren, chairman and CEO, in a news release.
"Warwick is part of a market that has six times the number of households and businesses as the Washington County market."
The two-story, 7,400-square-foot branch is a classic New England design, housing banking professionals who offer a full line of personal, business banking, and trust and investment management services. Branch amenities include flat-screen TVs in waiting areas, computers with Internet access and an online banking kiosk. The branch also has two ATMs (one walk-up and one drive-up), and three drive-up banking lanes.
