USA Technologies enters kiosk market with wireless payment and networking offerings

May 19, 2004

MALVERN, Pa.-USA Technologies has developed a range of wireless activated credit card transaction offerings for the multi billion dollar self-service kiosk marketplace, according to a company press release.

USA Technologies reported that its latest cashless transaction offerings had the capability to convert just about any form of kiosk to accept wireless operated credit card transactions and to remotely monitor sales, both cash and credit.

"The new wireless kiosk program makes good business sense for the growing kiosk market and for USA Technologies," said Stephen P. Herbert, President and COO, USA Technologies.

"There is so much potential for USA Technologies in this growing market space," Herbert continued.  "Our wireless kiosk program can enable nearly any kiosk to accept credit card transactions.  And very little, if any, customization, from application to application is required."

All transactions are processed through the USA Technologies' existing USALive network.  This is the same network that is processing transactions for all the Company's current customers that includes Coca-Cola, Sony, Masterfoods, Playtex and Banana Boat suntan products.

"Whether the kiosk dispenses airline tickets, rail and subway tickets, or postage stamps, USA Technologies has a solution available," said Herbert.

"Our USALive network can affordably process transactions of any size including micro-transactions as low as one dollar."
