University to offer students interactive link to financial services

August 4, 2003

SEATTLE -- This fall, the University of Washington's new CampusLink kiosk will offer students interactive information on their financial futures.

According to a news release, Tom Turnure, president of Turnure & Associates insurance brokerage, sees the kiosk as a satellite office for his business. The company will host insurance information services on the terminal, which will be installed at the student union center at the beginning of the school year.

"We're excited to be a part of this new service," Turnure said. "Through the CampusLink kiosk, students and faculty will be able to access information that's crucial to their financial future," he said. "At the same time, it will allow us to connect with and serve a key constituency for us."

With the CampusLink kiosk, Turnure sees new potential for business from the campus community. "The kiosk will help us to communicate more effectively in a non-intimidating environment with displays, interactive Web services, direct phone lines and informative promotions," he said.
