Students at the University of Texas at Austin are working with the university to introduce a 24-hour contraception vending machine in response to the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade, according to a report in The Daily Texan, a campus newspaper.
The student government passed a resolution to support the initiative by Emergency Contraception 4 Every Campus, a student organization.
A Texas law is expected to take effect criminalizing abortion, according to Nikita Kakkad, a member of the student organization.
