The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor has become the latest location to have a hair care vending machine targeted at African Americans.

Students at the university are now able to get hair care products for African Americans at a vending machine in the basement of the university union, according to a wxyz.com report.

The machine, which offers products such as bonnets, durags, wild growth oil and hair glue, was created by entrepreneurs Rico Harrison and Mia Wilson who received a grant from Optimize, a university organization that supports social innovation projects on campus.

The machine is called the Innovending Machine.

African American students have had to travel to Chicago, Detroit or Ypsilanti for hair care products.
