University at Albany-SUNY using self-check-in security kiosk

Visitors to a University at Albany-SUNY College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering facility can now clear security using an electronic kiosk at the front door,according to the Albany (N.Y.) Times Union.

The kiosk prints out a security badge sticker for the college's new NanoFab East building after scanning a business card, and a college spokesman said the school is thinking about calling it "Art," for automated registration technology.
