Unisys teams with health care group on COVID testing, including kiosks

Unisys Corp., an IT services provider, has teamed with Inspire Health Alliance, a health care services provider, to provide U-Pass. a COVID-19 testing and health management solutions that can help any public or private operation control who can access their environment, including the use of health check kiosks. U-Pass combines comprehensive testing with a digital health passport, according to a press release.

As a security and IT services partner to Inspire Health Alliance, Unisys provides end-to-end support, including project management, systems integration capabilities and onsite technical support.

With the addition of U-Pass, Unisys helps Inspire Health Alliance deliver COVID-19 testing and access control benefits, including COVID-19 antibody and antigen tests, as well as PCR testing, managed independently by licensed healthcare administrators.

Unisys also provides health checkpoint kiosks that can be deployed at any entrance and include Unisys Stealth, the company's biometric identity management software, to verify an individual's identity and help secure the safety of the facility. Biometric identity, combined with a negative test result, can be integrated into building management systems to allow physical access.
