UniComp to launch family of wireless information kiosks

The MicroKiosk family can be linked together in a traditional Ethernet environment, or communicate in a wireless mode to a retailer's in-house Intranet or travel externally to the Internet to send or retrieve information. The functionality of the kiosk is designed to meet the end user requirements.

UniComp's free standing, in-store automated information kiosks utilize a touchscreen VGA color display, scanner or traditional keyboards to interact with the customers within grocery stores, large discount retailers or specialty retail shops. The company's MicroKiosk 1000, 2000, 3000, and 4000 range in sophistication from a full-sized PC to smart terminal. The configuration of each kiosk is application dependant.
