Ultraleap intros mount for 3Di camera

Ultraleap, a provider of hand tracking and mid-air haptics technologies, has introduced its Multi Mount for its 3Di camera, a camera that complements Ultraleap's touch-free solution and enables integration for both retrofits and new kiosk designs, according to a company email announcement.

The Multi Mount holds the Ultraleap 3Di camera securely to a kiosk or a screen and can be used in desktop mode, providing camera placement for evaluation and deployment. It can sit on any horizontal surface and attach to a range of displays.

To install the Multi Mount, the company provides a box that includes a USB 2.0 cable, adhesive strips for attaching Multi Mount to surfaces, screws for attaching the camera to the Multi Mount and a hex key.

The user feeds the USB cable through the access hole at the rear of the Multi Mount. They then plug the USB cable into the camera module, place the camera in the Multi Mount, then use the hex key and bolts to secure the camera to the Multi Mount.

Attached to the Multi Mount, the camera is ready for positioning in desktop mode or fixing to a kiosk or screen.
