UK vending machine offers art, literary works

Residents and visitors to the Drake Circus mall in Devon, U.K. can purchase literary works and enameled badges from local writers and artists at a vending machine, according to an msn.com report.

The plays, poems and badges are packaged in boxes that sell for £1 ($1.27) per item in the Plymouth Art Vending Machine. The proceeds benefit the writers and artists who created the works which so far include 20 poets and playwrights.

The enamel pin badges include works designed by a children's book illustrator and a tattooist featuring work inspired by Plymouth landmarks.
