UK prescription machine draws strong patient response

A prescription vending machine outside Well Pharmacy on Park Lane, in Poynton, United Kingdom, has been used by 30% of patients during normal business hours, with use doubling during the first coronavirus pandemic lockdown, according to a Poynton Post report.

Patients can pick up prescription 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

The machine was installed in the spring of 2019.
