U.K. hospital adopts RFID wristband system

Usingrfid.com: Birmingham Heartlands Hospital of England has adopted RFID wristbands from English supplier Brenmoor Ltd., which makes barcode-printable hospital wristbands. According to the U.K. Department of Health, wider use of such systems could reduce the Â£2 billion worth of extra bed days that result from wrongly identified patients.
