Pleasureland Amusement in Whitby, U.K., with arcade games, indoor golf, bowling and an ice-cream bar, has completed one year of implementation of the Semnox cashless system for arcades, according to a press release.

After being shut for almost four months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the facility re-opened in early July 2020 with the TapTap contactless card system.

Parafait Klassic kiosks have been deployed at the venue, allowing customers to buy new cards and top up. These self-service kiosks allow the venue to cross-sell or up-sell based on the customer's needs.

The cashless system also manages the integrated digital signage displays that are being used at the venue for advertisements and promotions.
