UK beer dispensing kiosk secures expansion funding

EBar, an Aberdeen U.K.-based kiosk designed to dispense cold beer at events, has closed £670,000 ($918,910) in a seed funding round, according to its website. Funding will be used to support the introduction of kiosks throughout Europe.

The machine is Internet connected, uses proprietary pouring technology and offers contactless payment. Customers can order, pay and receive two drinks in less than 30 seconds.

The funding round was led by Seedrs with support from Equity Gap, Jenson Funding Partners and several existing investors.
