Trump Labor Secretary nominee Andrew Pudzer a big kiosk fan

President-elect Donald Trump has nominated CKE Restaurant’s CEO  Andrew Pudzer as labor secretary, an executive known for his pro-automation and anti-regulation views, according to QSRWeb. 

Common Dreams, a news site, noted in a report that Pudzer has boasted about the advantages of replacing employees with machines.

The Hardee’s kiosks don’t replace humans with robots as much as they allow people to communicate with human workers in a different way, the Common Dreams article noted. Kiosks are useful in eliminating checkout lines, but they are less effective at eliminating workers, according to the report.
