Transportation ticketing kiosks out of service in Springfield, Massachusetts

A pair of kiosks for dispensing bus tickets has not been working for more than a week, causing inconvenience to customers at Union Station in Springfield, Massachusetts, according to WWLP-TV. The screens say, "this machine is currently being tested." 

Brandy Pelletier of the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority told 22News the machines at Union Station and in Westfield, another city served by the PVTA, are part of an ongoing project that hasn't been rolled out yet.

She said there is no timeline for when the kiosks will be functioning.
