Tranax, Hantle to show off new tech at KioskCom

Tranax Technologies Inc.and Hantle System Co. are set to show off their new X6000 line of ATMs/kiosks at this April's KioskCom Self Service Expo and The Digital Signage Show in Las Vegas.

The X6000 will be joined at the show by the TK1000 kiosk and the TK4000 through-the-wall kiosk. Tranax displayed the TK1000 and TK4000 kiosks at last year's KioskCom and brought them back again this year because, while both units have been used in bill payment, money transfer and movie ticketing, they now have many more applications in various stages of development.

Though customizable, the kiosks are built with a financial solution in mind, says Wes Dunn, director of business development for Tranax. Hantle, a sister company of Tranax's under the Eltna Holding Co. Ltd., is a leading Korean manufacturer and supplier of mobile terminals, automatic recognition systems and banking-related equipment, such as wireless card authorization terminals, check readers, ticket printers, check accept/dispense modules and bill dispensers.

The X6000 is an ATM with a 15-inch touchscreen running on a Windows XP platform. It also comes equipped with a customizable sidecar option for additional transactions. Designed originally with check cashing in mind, the sidecar can be fitted with many peripherals to meet the needs of card dispensing, bill payment, money transfer, movie ticketing and other transactions.
