TouchVisionhas released a new line of interactive network appliance software and network monitoring and management services designed to meet the demand for place-based interactive systems.The new software solution, TouchVision EyePoint, provides a platform for the operation of interactive appliances such as touchscreen kiosks, self-service machines, plasma advertising displays, digital POP displays, wireless e-Commerce access points and other applications that provide customer access to Internet-based services in physical locations.
TouchVision EyePoint allows for the rapid deployment of reliable interactive networks in locations such as retail stores, health care facilities, shopping malls, hotels, businesses and other locations requiring customer access points. A new companion software solution, TouchVision Guardian, has also been released. TouchVision Guardian is designed to remotely monitor and manage networks of interactive systems.
TouchVision Guardian is coupled with the TouchVision interactive network operations center to provide ASP service. Three service levels are available: monitoring service, which tracks the status of the network appliance, issues service alerts for trouble conditions and collects use and log data; response service that enables TouchVision technicians to perform services such as system troubleshooting, help desk and technical support; and management service that allows TouchVision to perform additional services such as managing and distributing content, hosting applications and transactions and performing other network management services.
