AUSTIN, Texas -- Touchscreen manufacturer TouchSystems Corp. has introduced a new touchscreen-based computer system, Versa Touch, designed for slim-design kiosk integration and industrial applications.
The basic system houses a Pentium III processor, 128MG RAM, a floppy-disk drive, and 10GB hard drive. The Versa Touch can also be custom configured to include a high-bright display, front bezel, and CD ROM/DVD drives. The display and computer modules can be configured together or separated by as much as 12 feet, according to TouchSystems.
The Versa Touch is available in 12-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch LCD display sizes. The basic system is available for $2,020 (one unit quantity) through Sept. 30.
