AUSTIN, Texas -- Touchscreen company TouchSystems Corp. has named former IBM and 3Com senior-level manager Scott Fehr chief technology officer, replacing Gary Barrett. Barrett left the company in February to join Touch International, a touch-input supplier that spun off TouchSystems.
Fehr will develop and implement new customer service strategies, manage technology strategy, and oversee product development at TouchSystems. He holds a Ph.D. in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Texas, where he also did his undergraduate and graduate work.
TouchSystems designs, manufactures, and distributes touchscreen monitors, all-in-one touch computer units, and peripherals.
