AUSTIN, Texas -- TouchSystems Corp. introduced Mighty Touch, a wireless kiosk terminal designed to provide self-service customers with a flexible, fully integrated kiosk system.
According to a news release, the Mighty Touch is a dynamic, point-of-sale kiosk that can facilitate transactions, disseminate information, conduct surveys or provide an advertising avenue. The terminal features a 15-inch display with choice of three different touchscreen technologies: resistive, capacitive, or surface acoustic wave.
The kiosk, now available, starts at $2,895 (U.S.).
As TouchSystems' first fully integrated kiosk system, the Mighty Touch P model can be broken down into three modular pieces to allow for flexibility in installation. Customers can deploy the unit as a desktop, pedestal, or wall-mounted kiosk.
Mighty Touch's computing technology can perform multiple e-commerce functions, as well as connect to POS peripherals including thermal printers, smart-card readers and three-dimensional scanners, the release said.
The Mighty Touch kiosk system was ergonomically designed for consumer comfort. The touchscreen interface provides an easy method of interaction for users, regardless of their computer skills.
