Touchsystems 40-inch screen designed for high-use interaction

HUTTO, Texas — TouchSystems Corp., an innovator of touch-enabled products, has announced the new P4050D 40-inch, large-format interactive touch LCD monitor for markets such as retail point of sale, entertainment, hospitality, transactional and informational kiosks, industrial, education and transportation.

The monitor was also developed for applications in the rapidly emerging markets of information display and digital signage in public kiosks, airports, train stations, hotels, retail, restaurants, tradeshows, corporate signage, theaters, museums and more.  

The new P4050D is a fully integrated interactive touch LCD monitor featuring the 3M Dispersive Signal Technology touch technology.

According to a news release, the P4050D combines the performance and quality of NEC Display Solutions' MultiSync LCD4020 and accuracy and durability of DST touch technology from 3M Touch Systems into a complete touch monitor solution. The new P4050D is ideal for high-use interaction and operation. With the 3M Microtouch DST touch system you get fast, accurate, reliable operation, a chemically strengthened glass construction that delivers the ultimate in clarity and image purity, and unsurpassed performance and reliability.
