Securus Technologies Inc., a provider of inmate communications services and investigative technologies, has partnered with TouchPay Payment Systems to upgrade numerous automated payment solutions, including lobby and booking kiosks, throughout correctional facilities.
"This partnership allows Securus to provide something truly unique to our customers," said Robert Pickens, COO for Securus. "By integrating Securus' payment products with TouchPay's automated payment systems, friends and family of inmates can quickly and easily deposit money into a prepaid phone account or into an inmate's trust account through a network of lobby kiosk machines that are already deployed."
TouchPay's ability to fully automate the booking process removes a significant burden from correctional facility staff, allowing them greater focus on their core job responsibilities, Pickens said.
"TouchPay is excited about the opportunities that our relationship with Securus provides," said Dan Burgess, Partner, TouchPay Holdings, LP. "Securus is the most recognized name in inmate communication services, and with their dedication to the industry and the value-added services we'll be able to provide, it just made sense for our companies to create this partnership.
