EAST DOUGLAS VILLAGE, Ireland -- Calling it a way of saying thanks for the support it has received from customers this year, Irish full-service kiosk supplier TouchKey Technology Ltd. announced on Sept. 5 that it would upgrade its Slabb kiosk systems to Intel Pentium IV processors.
Beginning immediately, all new Slabb 5 systems will be shipped with the upgraded Intel processor. Previously, the company used Intel Pentium III processors in its systems. The Slabb 5 also features a CD-ROM drive, Ethernet network card, 15.1-inch touchscreen, and Windows 98 operating system. The unit markets for 4,995 Euros ($4,950).
