AUSTIN, Texas -- The U.S. Air Force has awarded Touch International Inc. a contract to manufacture 17-inch analog resistive touchscreens for the military's Air Command and Control Center. The contract is expected to generate more than $1 million in revenue for Touch International in the next three years, according to a company news release.
The touchscreens will be engineered and manufactured at the company's Custom Solutions Center in Austin, Texas.
Touch International president and CEO Michael Woolstrum said he first serviced the U.S. Air Force in 1989 when he built touchscreens for a Tactical Area Operations Center project.
The company has headquarters in Austin and Trier, Germany, with additional sales and support offices on four continents.
