A Tokyo rail station, Shinjuku Station, has installed a vending machine that will offer a selection of flowers in different stages of bloom priced between 500 yen ($4.55) and 3,000 yen ($27.32) through Sept. 30, according to a soranews24.com report.
The machine, located at the West Exist Event Space, is a collaboration between florists Landflora and Hibiya Kadan Style.
Customers can use a 500 yen coin to see if they will get a fresh bud, flowers that are a third way through bloom, a fifth way through bloom, a seventh way through bloom or full bloom. The flowers are packaged in boxes.
For 800 yen, customers can receive a small base with the flowers.
The flower fortunes come in an air sealed package.
