Tivoli and Wincor create self-service solution

PADERBORN, Germany - A new product for self-service terminals will allow ATM and Self-Service terminal (SST) owners to more effectively manage their networks from a central location.

Tivoli Systems Inc., an IBM company, and Wincor Nixdorf, the German manufacturer of ATM and SST devices, announced that the new solution is the first to come from an alliance formed by the two companies last July.

Wincor is also partnering with IBM in North America to boost its market share in the ATM market. 

Tivoli, based in Austin, Texas, is a software developer that distributes products through IBM sales channels. Wincor Nixdorf is the third-largest manufacturer of ATM machines in the world.
